Base Metal Thermocouples
Rugged Design Thermocouples made for Heavy Industrial Use
Base metal thermocouples are made from heavy gauged conductors containing nickel alloys and depending on thermocouple type are suited for measuring temperatures between -270 to +1300°C. They are a rugged design, suited for heavy industrial use. We offer two basic types of base metal thermocouples which include ceramic insulated wire and thermocouples with protection tubes
Base Metal
with Insulators
These ceramic insulated base metal assemblies are used primarily as replacement sensors for complete units which have connection heads and protection tubes. These can typically be made to fit most manufacturers standard units
Straight
Protection Tube
Available in numerous sheath materials these protection tubes are used to house base metal thermocouples in a straight configuration. Sheath length and connection head are also configurable
Available in numerous sheath materials these protection tubes are used to house base metal thermocouples in a 90-degree configuration. Sheath length and connection head are also configurable
